The Winchester 1873 Sporter CCH 44-40 is a new take on an old classic modeled after The Gun That Won The West! It’s just as functional and practical as the original and great fun to shoot! This rifle shares the same classic design favored by many hunters and shooters, because the 1873 Rifle is fast to the shoulder, quick on the swing, and lightweight. It features a 24″ blued octagon barrel and a pistol grip grade II/III walnut stock. The rifle style forearm provides an intuitive grip and the crescent style buttplate nestles into the shoulder. The color case hardened receiver, lever, forend cap, and loading gate give this rifle a nostalgic look and feel. It has a full length magazine and a traditional buckhorn rear sight with a Marble Arms gold bead front sight.

The Model 1873 Sporter Rifle is an excellent choice for a ranch gun, hunting in heavy cover or even Cowboy Action Shooting competitions. Every shooter should have a good lever action in their collection, but with the Winchester Model 1873 Sporter Rifle, you have a great lever action in yours!
