Springfield 1911 Emissary
The Springfield 1911 Emissary in 9mm with 4.25” bridges defensive and custom pistols delivering a bold and capable addition to the Springfield Armory family of 1911’s. The Emissary blends form and function seamlessly in a firearm built for defense and loaded with custom-grade features. Built on a durable foundation of forged steel in its barrel, slide and frame, the Emissary offers a pistol with an air of custom refinement. The pistol has a beautiful two-tone finish, with a blued carbon steel slide and a stainless-steel frame with squared trigger guard. A “Tri-Top” cut to the slide gives the pistol custom-grade styling, while a heavy-profile bull barrel delivers maximum accuracy and reduces felt recoil. The slide’s “Tri-Top” is finished with 40 LPI serrations to diffuse light and reduce glare. Springfield Armory’s U-Dot sights are ideal for defensive situations offering fast and intuitive acquisition while providing a tritium/luminescent front sight for low light conditions. Delivering ultra-fast lock times, the Emissary’s skeletonized hammer combines excellent style with exceptional performance. Integrated into the forged steel frame is a strip of Picatinny accessory rail, ready to accept the light, laser or combo unit of your choice. It is fully wrapped in a grenade pattern texture for firm engagement in adverse conditions. The slim line VZ Grips are machined from G10 while the mainspring housing and front strap are machined to match. The Emissary comes with two top-quality 8-round stainless steel magazines with base pads.
