Sig Sauer P229 Elite
The Sig Sauer P229 Elite is a classic compact size double/single action hammer fired pistol chambered in 9 mm. It incorporates all the features of the P226 in a smaller more compact package. Originally designed to meet the needs of law enforcement, today’s P229 has been engineered to meet the most demanding reliability standards while delivering the highest possible performance. The Elite P229 has a beavertail frame with front cocking serrations and a short reset trigger(SRT). It features an aluminum frame with accessory rail and E2 grip, stainless steel slide with contrast sights and a decocker. The Sig Sauer P229 Elite comes equipped with the upgraded SRT (short reset trigger).
The P229 Elite Compact model take the same features common to all Elite series pistols and combine them with the ergonomic one-piece grips. The P229 Elite Compact builds on the exceptional reputation of out-of-the-box accuracy with the addition of SIG’s Short Reset Trigger or SRT. The SRT provides you the same great safety and smooth action of the SIG DA/SA with a comfortable short reset for faster trigger return and surgical control during high speed shooting. The P229 Elite Compact features a Beavertail frame, front strap checking and comes with SIGLITE Night Sights and two magazines.
