The Browning BAR is one of those key designs that has defined the Browning legacy. Today’s sporting BAR began as the legendary rifle designed by John M. Browning for the US Military. It’s the first autoloader to offer magnum cartridge capability and a wide range of calibers. Browning’s BAR Safari Anniversary Edition celebrates this legacy with a 22″ hammer forged barrel that has a target crown and a chrome lined chamber for extreme long range accuracy. It sports an ordinance steel receiver with 100th Anniversary gold engraving and a unique 100th Anniversary serial number. The proven and reliable gas operated action reduces felt recoil as it quickly cycles each round. This Safari Anniversary is chambered in the fantastic all purpose .308 Winchester cartridge. It features a gorgeous Grade III Turkish walnut stock with cut checkering and a lustrous gloss finish. The BAR Safari Anniversary is an excellent choice for shooting long range targets, and predator hunting.
